Mert Yilmaz was born on 10th July 1986 in Antalya, Turkey. He has been married with Esra. He received the B.Sc. degree (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) from Anadolu University in 2014. He worked as an R&D engineer at BTT – Bilgi Teknoloji Tasarim in 2015. Then, he has become a research Assistant in Bursa Technical University and Izmir Institute of Technology (Teaching Staff Training Program) in 2016. He received the M.Sc. degree (Mechanical Engineering) from Izmir Institute of Technology in 2019. He continues his PhD education in Artificial IYTElligence and Design Laboratory in Department of Mechanical Engineering of Izmir Institute of Technology. His ongoing thesis is about inductive power transfer in electric vehicles.
